The Mitchell Area Council of the Arts is a volunteer-based organization which seeks to enrich and revitalize the local arts community by providing exposure and access to the arts.
By creating a network of artists and crafters, we hope to connect like-minded individuals and those who appreciate their work. We will encourage cultural enrichment and inclusion, engaging community members and visitors alike.
A message from the President:
“2025 was great year for growth. Primary funding, over 75%, came from Grants and over 58% of that funding went directly to paying local artists and performers. That money stayed in the Mitchell Area and supported Local Arts.
The MAA keeps a small overhead, we are volunteers who work tirelessly to grow from a tiny seed planted in 2021. There are so many ways to support what we are doing. Volunteering, donations, or even reaching out as partners or with ideas. Thank you to everyone who supports us and continues to be a part of this growth.
